Former Chelsea manager Liam Rosenior has been appointed head coach of Ligue 1 outfit Paris FC.
The French club confirmed the 41-year-old's arrival on a two-year deal on Tuesday, following the exit of predecessor Antoine Kombouare.
Rosenior was dismissed by Chelsea on April 22 after an underwhelming 106-day tenure in which he managed just 11 victories from 23 matches.
It represents a rapid return to French football for the former Hull and Fulham defender, who departed Chelsea's sister club Strasbourg in January to take charge at Stamford Bridge.

He replaces Kombouare, who had only taken the reins in February and guided the club to safety from relegation. A Paris FC statement declared that Rosenior was "fully in line" with the club's "philosophy and sporting project".
Sporting director Marco Neppe said: "Liam Rosenior brings together all the qualities we were looking for.
"He is a modern, demanding coach and recognised for his ability to help both the players and the team progress.
"Beyond his tactical skills, we were particularly attracted by his management qualities and his ability to unite a group around a clear vision."
Rosenior said: "I'm so happy to be the new coach of Paris FC. I can't wait to get started with the players.
"I want my team to enjoy playing football, to show and express themselves and play with intensity and enthusiasm. That's what I'm about and hopefully I can bring that to this club."
Rosenior completed one full campaign at the helm of Strasbourg, steering the side to seventh in Ligue 1 and securing their return to European football for the first time in eight years.
His tenure at Chelsea started encouragingly following Enzo Maresca's abrupt New Year's Day exit, but matters deteriorated rapidly as a sequence of five consecutive league losses without finding the net brought his spell to an end.
Paris FC made their comeback to France's top division for the first time since 1979 last term, but dismissed promotion-winning manager Stephane Gilli amid a difficult spell of results.
Kombouare, who previously managed Paris St Germain, delivered an 11th-place finish, yet the club opted to pursue a fresh direction.
