Ex-Town loanee returns to management after being linked to the Blues job

The 41-year-old lasted less than four months at Stamford Bridge, having joined the West London club from Strasbourg at the start of 2026.

Rosenior, who spent the 2010/11 season on loan at Portman Road from Reading, took charge of just 23 games during his disastrous spell at Chelsea.

He has now moved back to France on a two-year contract, replacing Antoine Kombouare after Paris finished 11th in Ligue 1 last season - their first season back in the top-flight after a 46-year absence.

Paris FC said Rosenior was appointed because of his "wealth of experience at the highest level", his ability to nurture young talent and his commitment to "attractive and attacking football".

The former full-back was among the bookies’ favourites to take over from Kieran McKenna following the Northern Irishman’s shock decision to step away the Blues.
