Arsenal have agreed a deal to sign a French star in the summer transfer window, according to The Athletic.
It's been a slow start to the summer market for the Gunners in terms of confirming new additions.
Arsenal are yet to complete a senior signing in the summer transfer window, clearly staying patient and trying not to panic after such a successful 25-26 campaign.
Arsenal won the Premier League last campaign, meaning they aren't in desperate need of reinforcements this summer.
The North London club will need to bring in new additions if they want to go to the next level, but there's certainly no need for them to panic buy.
Arsenal's first signing isn't one that is going to excite people, but it is a market opportunity considering he is on a free transfer.

According to a report from The Athletic, Arsenal have now agreed a deal to sign goalkeeper Illan Meslier after he left Leeds United following the expiration of his contract.
The 26-year-old French goalkeeper is set to sign, pending a medical, joining the club on a free transfer.
Arsenal currently have David Raya and Kepa Arrizabalaga as their goalkeeper options, but they're looking to add a third in order to send one of their youngsters out on loan.
The report claims that England under-21 goalkeeper Tommy Setford could now depart on a temporary transfer, with Meslier arriving through the door.
