Big for Iraola:"Generational"Premier League ace"would love"to join Liverpool this summer

Bournemouth star Junior Kroupi “would love” to join Liverpool and reunite with former manager Andoni Iraola this summer, according to a new transfer claim.

The Reds have only brought in Victor Munoz from Osasuna so far this summer, but the Spaniard is expected to be the first of many new faces through the door at Anfield, with additions needed in various areas of the pitch.

Another winger is a must for Liverpool, following Mohamed Salah’s exit after nine years at the club, while another central attacking player also wouldn’t go amiss, due to Hugo Ekitike’s long-term injury absence.

According to a respected source on X, Kroupi is now keen on sealing a move to Anfield before the start of next season, joining up with Iraola again in the process: “Junior Kroupi would love to reunite with his old manager Andoni Iraola according to sources.”

Can Junior Kroupi be Liverpool’s next great attacking signing?

Kroupi is a brilliant young footballer with such a high ceiling in the coming years, already proving his worth in the Premier League at the age of 20 and being hailed by Bournemouth teammate Marcus Tavernier:

“I’ve said before, Junior is a generational talent. The club has done an amazing job to pick Kroupi up. That boy has an unbelievable future ahead of him and today he showed why he’s such a good talent in the world of football.”

Last season, Kroupi scored 13 goals in just 21 Premier League starts, playing a key role in Bournemouth’s European push, and Liverpool should see him as a fantastic option to add to their attack.

The fact that Iraola knows the Frenchman can only be a good thing, with the Reds’ new boss no doubt feeling he could get the best out of him, and he can thrive as a central forward, left winger and attacking midfielder, meaning his versatility would be invaluable.

For now, there doesn’t appear to be anything too concrete in terms of talks between Liverpool and Kroupi, or a bid for him, but it is encouraging to hear that he likes the idea of reportedly making the move to Anfield.
