Liverpool are frantically scouring the market for a suitable attacking addition following the departure of long-serving talisman Mohamed Salah.
Originally, the Merseyside outfit had set their sights on a move for RB Leipzig starlet Yan Diomande, until it emerged that he would prefer to join Paris Saint-Germain over any other suitor if he is to leave his club this summer.
Crysencio Summerville to be offered immediate Premier League return
Manchester United had also established an interest in Diomande towards the closing stages of 2025/2026, but quickly accepted that he would be out of their price range, with Leipzig valuing him well above the £100 million mark.
As a result, INEOS have been scouting more feasible targets and have eventually landed on West Ham’s Crysencio Summerville.
The 24-year-old is on the back of a stellar World Cup campaign with the Netherlands, which saw him return two goals and two assists in four appearances on the biggest stage in football.

Which suitor does Summerville favour?
It’s anticipated that Summerville will indeed be on the move in the coming weeks due to the Irons suffering relegation on the last day of the season.

According to CaughtOffside, West Ham value their star forward in the region of £50m, although United would be looking to negotiate the fee down to a more reasonable £40m.
UtdDistrict has also relayed a report claiming that the Dutchman ‘only wants United’, meaning Liverpool are poised to be hit with yet another snub.
In the meantime, the Red Devils will welcome Ederson to Carrington this week so that he can undergo his official medical ahead of completing his £38m switch from Atalanta.
