West Ham prepared to sell Arsenal target for £25m

West Ham United are open to selling Arsenal target Aaron Wan-Bissaka for £25 million.

The Gunners are likely to pursue a new right-back this summer with White ‘expected‘ to leave.

White has had a couple of injury-plagued seasons. With his contract expiring in less than two years, it appears an ideal time for the club to cash in on his services.

Wan-Bissaka recently emerged as a right-back solution for Arsenal, and The Athletic claim that the Hammers are prepared to listen to offers for the 28-year-old.

The right-back, who has another five years left on his contract, can leave for £25m.

Arsenal could consider a move for Wan-Bissaka

Wan-Bissaka has excelled with his one-on-one defending over several seasons, and he was brilliant for DR Congo at the recent World Cup in North America.

The right-back won 68 percent of his ground duels at the tournament. He registered almost three tackles, three recoveries and six clearances for DR Congo.

Wan-Bissaka would be a fine addition to the Gunners’ squad due to his strong defensive attributes.

He may not be the best from an attacking point of view, but has notably improved from his time at Manchester United with more goal involvements.

The right-back has made 10 goal contributions from his 65 appearances for the Hammers, compared to just 15 from 190 matches for the Red Devils previously.

Since joining West Ham in 2024, the 28-year-old has created nine big chances in the league. He managed only two in the two seasons prior to that with United.

Meanwhile, Timber, who has been Arsenal’s regular right-back, has created only five big scoring opportunities in the previous two top-flight campaigns.

Wan-Bissaka’s vast league experience makes him a concrete target for Arsenal.

Everton are among the clubs interested in White, and Arsenal may seek to recoup at least £25m, which could be reinvested in Wan-Bissaka during the transfer window.
