Leeds United will make a new push for Parma goalkeeper Zion Suzuki, with Ilan Meslier set to join Arsenal on a free transfer.
Tuttomercatoweb report that Leeds are continuing to chase the Japanese goalkeeper, but Parma are holding firm.
Leeds make a serious push
The website reports that Leeds are making a ‘serious push’ for Zion Suzuki. They’re looking for a new goalkeeper this summer.
According to their information, Daniel Farke’s side will renew their interest in the 23-year-old. He also has interest from Juventus and other English clubs.
Initial exploratory talks have already taken place between Leeds and Parma. But, unfortunately for the Premier League side, these have so far failed to yield positive results. That has not put off Leeds, though. They are said to be ready to make another push for the goalkeeper.
They need a new addition in goal this summer, with Karl Darlow and Ilan Meslier both departing on a free transfer this summer.
The latter is on his way to Arsenal, where he has already undergone a medical and reportedly signed a contract with the Gunners. Darlow has been linked with moves inside the Premier League as well.

Zio Suzuki
Leeds, meanwhile, have been let with Lucas Perri and Alex Cairns as their goalkeeping options. The former was signed last summer but ended the season sat on the bench as Farke turned to Darlow and his experience instead.
That has seemingly pushed them to chase a deal for Zion Suzuki. Sport Witness have covered their interest and attempts for months.
The last of those reports, two days ago, even explained that they were eyeing a double raid on Parma for their goalkeeper and midfielder Mandela Keita.
The goalkeeper is reportedly valued at €30m plus. Whether Leeds are willing to pay that, remains to be seen. But they are planning a new bid as Meslier heads to London.
