1. The Premier League confirmed the first TV selections for the 2026/27 season, a week earlier than they initially promised.
2. United already knew that their opener against newly promoted Hull City would be held on Saturday, August 22 at 12.30pm. This game will be broadcast live on TNT Sports.
3. Now, the Reds can start making plans up to the first international break that begins on Monday, September 21.
4. Michael Carrick's side will play their first home game of the season on Sunday, August 30 when they host Ipswich Town in a 4.30pm kick off. This match will be broadcast live on Sky Sports.
5. A week later on Sunday, September 6, United travel to Everton in a 2pm kick off. Again, the match has been selected by Sky Sports.
6. United's derby clash with Manchester City was always likely to be moved and that has proven to be the case. The Reds will now host Enzo Maresca's men on Sunday, September 13, in a 4.30pm kick off live on Sky Sports.
7. The Reds' final match before the international break will be away at Fulham where Alvaro Arbeloa shall be in charge. That game is scheduled for Sunday, September 20 at 4.30pm, and will once again be shown on Sky Sports.
8. These selections are likely to prove unpopular among matchgoing supporters with United not having a single game kicking off at 3pm on a Saturday. The earliest opportunity for that will now come on October 10 against Tottenham but, due to the magnitude of the fixture, that is likely to be moved for TV too.
9. United should discover the next round of TV picks for matchdays six through to nine on the week commencing August 24. Read the full story [here](https://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/sport/football/breaking-manchester-united-vs-man-34250984).
