Xabi Alonso head coach of Real Madrid CF during the UEFA Champions League match, between Real Madrid CF and Manchester City, Santiago Bernabeu Stadium on December 10 2025 in Madrid, Spain next to West Ham United's Crysencio Summerville.

The winger looks set to leave the Hammers this summer, as he has no intention of playing in the Championship.

Summerville had an impressive second half of the season last campaign at the London Stadium, though momentum was halted after he suffered a calf injury.

Despite this, the Dutchman looks to be on his way to a top side in Europe, with multiple clubs all chasing his signature.

Nuno Espirito Santo understands that the Irons have to sell some of their best assets this summer, with Mateus Fernandes already out the door.

Now, Summerville could be next, as West Ham are reportedly locked in talks with Chelsea over a permanent move.

According to Chelsea reporter Si Phillips, the Blues are in talks with West Ham over a move for Summerville.

The Blues have been quoted a £50million price tag for the player, and though nothing is close or done yet, talks are said to be "developing".

Chelsea are said to have held early talks with Summerville's agent, in an attempt to seek information on whether their client would be open to moving to Stamford Bridge.

West Ham's star has other clubs like Manchester United and Liverpool interested in him, though Chelsea have reportedly already done their scouting on the 24-year-old from his time at Leeds United.

Summerville's salary is not an issue for Chelsea, and as already reported, West Ham are open to selling the player.

However, the deal could hinge on other transfer talks between Chelsea and West Ham.

The Hammers are said to be trying to sign Axel Disasi once again, with another unnamed player also wanted on loan in E20.

It's reported that Summerville's possible move to Chelsea could be affected by how the other deals play out.

It's not known if the winger would be open to the move either, but if he was, it would certainly help.
