Everton are reportedly interested in signing Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus in the summer transfer window, with the Brazilian forward able to leave the Gunners.
The Toffees could be in the market to sign a new striker this summer, with both Thierno Barry and Beto failing to nail down a starting role in David Moyes' side.
Everton struggled when it came to scoring goals last season, but there's no doubt there were others to blame, not just the striker duo.
Beto is the more experienced option of the two, with Barry likely a long-term investment who Everton will be expecting to grow into his role.
Whether Everton sell one of the duo this summer remains to be seen, but RB Leipzig have shown an interest in Barry and have made contact with the Toffees over a potential move.
Everton have already been linked with a number of strikers in the summer transfer window, and the latest is Arsenal forward Jesus.
Everton eyeing Arsenal star
According to journalist Gianluigi Longari, Everton are exploring the possibility of signing Arsenal forward Jesus in the summer transfer window.
The Brazilian forward will be allowed to leave the Gunners this summer after falling behind Victor Gyokeres and Kai Havertz in the pecking order at Arsenal.
Jesus has struggled to play consistently over the last few years, making just 26 Premier League starts across the last three seasons.
During that period, Jesus has scored 10 Premier League goals, with injuries and inconsistency hampering his performance levels.
Everton linked with multiple strikers
Moyes’ side have been linked with multiple strikers ahead of the summer transfer window, which is no surprise with Everton likely to strengthen in multiple areas this summer.
Reports have suggested that Monaco striker Folarin Balogun is a potential target for Everton, though the French outfit will only accept a huge offer to allow him to leave the club.
Everton are also reportedly interested in signing Liam Delap from Chelsea once again. The Toffees were keen on Delap last summer before he made the move to Chelsea from Ipswich Town.
The English striker has struggled to make an impact at Stamford Bridge, and there is every chance that they'd be willing to offload him in the coming weeks and months.
Despite Delap's poor form, Chelsea are reportedly demanding £40 million for him to leave, despite paying £30 million to bring him to the club from Ipswich.
