Arsenal are set to jostle with rivals Tottenham Hotspur for the transfer of Norway's FIFA World Cup star Antonio Nusa, as per reports. The Gunners are in the market for reinforcements to their squad after winning the Premier League in the 2025-26 season.
Mikel Arteta's side are looking to bring in a new left winger as a move away from the club is imminent for Leandro Trossard. They have set their sights on 21-year-old Nusa but are not alone in their interest, with both Tottenham and Newcastle United also keen on the Norwegian forward.
Antonio Nusa enjoyed a decent campaign in Germany with RB Leipzig, scoring five goals and providing four assists for his side. His performances earned him a place in Norway's FIFA World Cup start, and he has impressed for Stale Solbakken's side in the tournament.
Nusa has played in all five games for Norway at this summer's FIFA World Cup, scoring once against Cote d'Ivoire in the Round of 32. The youngster has caught the eye with his trickery and pace, and is clearly one of the stars for the Vikings in North America.
Leipzig are aware of the performance of their player at the Mundial and anticipate approaches for him this summer. They have set their asking price to €50-60 million and will not consider a sale for any fee less than that, with Aston Villa and Crystal Palace also keeping tabs on the situation.
Arsenal set to make move for FIFA World Cup star: Reports
Arsenal are prepared to make another approach to sign Brazil international Bruno Guimaraes this summer, as per reports. The midfielder has handed in a transfer request at Newcastle United, leaving both parties to try to find an agreement.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Newcastle have turned down two offers worth £55 and £65 million, and want a much higher fee to sell the midfielder. Magpies captain Guimaraes has told the club that he will not force a move, but was clear in his intention to join the Gunners this summer.
Bruno Guimaraes played a key role for Brazil at the FIFA World Cup this summer, featuring in all of their games in the tournament. He provided four assists in five appearances, but missed a crucial penalty in their 2-1 defeat to Norway in the Round of 16.
Arsenal were linked with the midfielder before he joined Newcastle from Olympique Lyon a few years ago. Their interest has remained, and they appear set to complete the deal.
