Arsenal have completed the signing of Germany international striker Selina Cerci on a permanent transfer, with the prolific forward expressing her excitement after becoming the latest addition to Renée Slegers’ squad ahead of the new season.
ARSENAL confirmed the deal on Thursday, strengthening their attacking options with one of the Frauen-Bundesliga’s most in-form forwards. Cerci arrives after an outstanding spell in Germany, where her goalscoring exploits and all-round attacking play established her as one of the league’s leading strikers.
Speaking shortly after completing the move, Cerci described joining Arsenal as a dream opportunity and said she is eager to begin the next chapter of her career in north London.
