Each day that passes in the transfer window offers Liverpool another opportunity to strengthen their squad. Victor Munoz has joined from Osasuna, although he currently stands as the Reds' only acquisition going into the summer thus far.
Jeremy Jacquet, who signed his contract in January, has now also formally arrived at the club. Andoni Iraola was in attendance this week at the club's AXA training facility in Kirkby to assess a number of Liverpool players. He will be eager to retain his key personnel as he gets to know them better, while remaining fully conscious that substantial work still needs completing in the transfer market. One name that keeps surfacing in relation to the Reds is PSG's Bradley Barcola.
The most recent updates indicate an understanding has been reached concerning the Frenchman. Nevertheless, Liverpool have been notified they must pay an astronomical figure to secure the winger, reports the Liverpool Echo.

French outlet L'équipe has revealed that PSG have placed a colossal £128million valuation on Barcola. Liverpool and Arsenal are believed to be the frontrunners for the winger's services at present.
The report additionally indicates the 23-year-old may become obtainable should PSG successfully finalise an agreement for former Liverpool target Yan Diomande, who is understood to have already settled personal terms with the Parisian outfit. Playing into the Reds' hands is Arsenal's rumoured pursuit of Aston Villa and England star Morgan Rogers.
Should the Gunners move for Rogers, it could open up a clear route for Liverpool to land Barcola. PSG are also believed to be keen on bringing in Maghnes Akliouche from AS Monaco, which could give Barcola further reason to look for regular first-team football elsewhere.
That said, it seems likely that even if Barcola becomes available and is keen on a switch, the transfer fee will pose a considerable obstacle.

Two former forwards have agreed that Barcola could be a transformative signing for the Reds. Ex-Liverpool forward Emile Heskey believes landing the PSG star would represent a remarkable coup.
Heskey told BOYLE Sports: "Signing Bradley Barcola would be an amazing coup for Liverpool because he provides the pace and directness we've been missing on the left wing. We've been spoiled with Sadio Mané and Luis Díaz, and now we need Barcola to get the fans off their seats again.
"Liverpool looked to have missed out on Yan Diomande to PSG, but that could open the door to Barcola leaving, it would be a statement signing for Andoni Iraola that's for sure."
Meanwhile, former Everton and Man United forward Louis Saha maintains Barcola has the attributes necessary to become one of the game's elite talents.

Saha told Live Football Tickets: "Bradley Barcola is a terrific player. He has already won two Champions Leagues, and he could even win the World Cup over the next few weeks, his achievements for such a young player are staggering.
"He has become a much-improved player over the past few seasons, he gets better and better every year, and he can go right to the very top of football. What Barcola needs is to move somewhere where he is going to be first choice in his position week in, week out. His confidence will improve ten-fold once that happens, and then he will be a way more dangerous player.
"He has enormous potential, and I'm not surprised Liverpool are looking at him. They need a replacement for Mohamed Salah, and Cody Gakpo has looked uncomfortable at times for them out wide. Barcola could easily fill either of those positions."
