Arsenal are reportedly working on deals to potentially sign both Morgan Rogers and Bradley Barcola this summer. The Gunners have been heavily linked with strengthening their forward options as they prepare for their Premier League title defence.
Both Rogers and Barcola have been credited as targets for Arsenal this summer, although each player would cost more than £100million to prise from their respective clubs.
Aston Villa star Rogers is currently starring with England at the World Cup and preparing to face Norway in the quarter-final, while Barcola of Paris Saint-Germain recently helped France reach the semi-final with a victory over Morocco.
The Daily Mail has reported that Arsenal are ‘working in tandem’ on deals to sign both players this summer, a tactic sporting director Andrea Berta is thought to be in favour of.
Separate reports have claimed that Barcola is valued at around £116million by PSG, with the fee set by Manchester City’s deal to sign Elliott Anderson from Nottingham Forest seen as a benchmark.
Villa are reported to value Rogers at around £130millon, meaning both players could cost £246million if both asking prices prove to be accurate.
Of course, the chances of Arsenal signing both Rogers and Barcola remain unlikely, given that both players like to operate in the same position and would compete for the same spot in the Gunners’ starting line-up.
However, Arsenal could see some players leave the club this summer, which would make room for more options in the forward line.

Leandro Trossard has emerged as a player of interest to Besiktas, with a £17million deal for the Belgium international recently agreed.
There is also uncertainty around the future of Gabriel Martinelli, and it’s still unclear if the Brazilian will be part of the Arsenal squad going into next season.
Away from the forward line, Arsenal are reportedly pushing to sign Bruno Guimaraes from Newcastle United this summer.
Reports have claimed that the Gunners have already seen a £55million offer rejected, with suggestions that the Magpies would demand a fee closer to £75million for the Brazil international.
Arsenal were handed a boost in the race to sign Guimaraes when it was reported that the 28-year-old had expressed a desire to leave St James’ Park amid interest from the Gunners.
