£43M Could Be‘Enough’To Sign“Fantastic”Winger Who Arsenal Are Watching‘Closely’

**Arsenal are monitoring RB Leipzig winger Antonio Nusa “closely” as they look to strengthen their options on the left flank, according to reports.**

[_TEAMtalk_](https://www.teamtalk.com/arsenal/antonio-nusa-transfer-news-arsenal-spurs-interest-norway-leipzig) claim that the Norwegian international will be offloaded this summer if a club matches his asking price.

Leipzig have made it known to suitors that Nusa is on the market for €60m (£51m). However, it seems there is some wiggle room on that figure.

_TEAMtalk_ say “sources” have told them that €50m (£43m) could well be “enough” to secure the 21-year-old’s services.

Nusa could be an alternative to Tzolis

--------------------------------------

The Gunners are said to be [**closing in on a deal**](https://goonernews.com/blog/arsenal-transfer-news-christos-tzolis-2/) for another left-sided forward – Club Brugge’s Christos Tzolis, and he is expected to cost a similar amount – €40m (£34m).

However, if Nusa is on the market for the price suggested, there would be a temptation to switch targets. He is a highly rated young player. Speaking back in 2024, his Norway teammate Erling Haaland said:

“He’s fantastic. So it is important to take care of him and not hype him too much, even though he is a great talent. It is important to leave him alone and give him the opportunity to develop.”

Since those comments, Nusa has caught the eye playing for both club and country, attracting many suitors.

Arsenal will have competition for the winger

--------------------------------------------

It is believed that Tottenham, Aston Villa, Crystal Palace and Newcastle have shown interest in Nusa, although the Magpies’ decision to purchase Hoffenheim’s Bazoumana Toure may lead them to bow out of the race.

Clubs outside of the Premier League are also believed to be scouting the Norwegian, with AC Milan, Napoli and Atletico Madrid all reportedly circling the player.

At the moment, the Gunners still look likelier to sign Tzolis, but sporting director Andrea Berta and manager Mikel Arteta are clearly keeping their options open.
