Mohamed Salah‘s Liverpool career ended with countless records and accolades, one of which includes the highest win rate of any long-serving player.
After a turbulent season that saw Salah’s role under Arne Slot change, his contract was subsequently terminated by mutual consent a year early.
The 34-year-old has shown throughout the World Cup that he still has plenty to offer, but Liverpool remain on the search for his replacement – which has been anything but smooth.
Finding a successor for a club legend is no easy feat, underlined by not only his incredible goal record but also his win percentage.
Of his 442 appearances, Salah won 276. That is a win rate of 62.4 percent.

As per Opta’s Michael Reid during the club’s ‘Greatest’ list countdown, it represents the highest win percentage of any Liverpool player with 400 or more appearances.
It is more than club greats Kenny Dalglish (59.8%) and Alan Hansen (58.7%), who played during one of the club’s greatest and most successful eras.
Salah’s record also eclipses the next best Jordan Henderson (58.5%), Ronnie Whelan (58%) and Bruce Grobbelaar (57.6%), all of whom sit in the club’s top 15 appearance makers.

The Egyptian himself sits 23rd for appearances in Liverpool’s record books, which highlights the Reds’ consistency, primarily under Jurgen Klopp, during Salah’s nine years at Anfield.
And the 34-year-old was, of course, instrumental to the long list of victories, with his 257 goals accounting for 23.8 percent of Liverpool’s total from 2017/18 to 2025/26.
He was scoring every 139 minutes for the Reds, the best minutes per goal ratio of any player with more than 100 goals.
It is hard to believe his feats will ever be replicated.
