Man City are keeping close tabs on Flamengo attacking midfielder Kaua Pavuna, according to reports in the Brazilian media.
Writing in an ‘exclusive’, a prominent Brazilian YouTube channel, Flazoeiro, has revealed that the 15-year-old is being “followed” by the Cityzens, Arsenal and Bayern Munich.

Pavuna and his family are believed to have travelled to Europe for their holidays, but while they were there, they were given a tour of the training facilities at all three teams.
At the moment, the player has not made a final decision on whether he will leave Flamengo, but the interest from European clubs is strong.
What do City fans need to know about the player?
The teenager joined Flamengo’s youth ranks in 2022, and he has subsequently moved up the age groups of their academy. He is currently training with their Under-17s.
At international level, Pavuna has already made a big impression for Brazil’s Under-15s. In a friendly against Japan in May, he scored both goals during a 2-0 win.
That performance is likely to have attracted the attention of City and other teams, who keep a very close eye on young talent in Brazil.

Pavuna can’t leave Brazil until 2029
Due to FIFA rules, the attacking midfielder is not eligible for a transfer away from his home country before his 18th birthday. He will turn 16 in late January 2027, so it will be another two and a half years before he could officially join a European team.
That doesn’t stop clubs from securing a pre-agreement with Flamengo before the January 2029 transfer window, and it seems that City are already getting themselves in position to beat their rivals for one of Brazil’s most promising up-and-coming players.
