Liverpool will kick off pre-season at the AXA Training Centre on Tuesday, with Andoni Iraola expected to work with at least 15 first-team players from day one.
Though the World Cup continues in the background, Liverpool return to work on July 14 to kick off a new era under Iraola.
A number of players will, however, be missing from the start of pre-season training, including Alexis Mac Allister and Victor Munoz who are still on duty in the United States.
But it should be a strong squad available to Iraola and his staff from day one of sessions at the AXA, with 15 first-team players likely to be involved.
Who will be available for Liverpool’s pre-season day one?

The goalkeeping group should be comprised of Giorgi Mamardashvili, Freddie Woodman and young Hungarian Armin Pecsi.
Alisson remains on a break after Brazil’s World Cup campaign and Vitezslav Jaros is still sidelined after a serious knee injury.
Jeremy Jacquet has proved his fitness after beginning work with Liverpool U21s and he will be joined by Joe Gomez, Milos Kerkez, Jeremie Frimpong and the returning Kostas Tsimikas.
Harvey Elliott is another of last season’s loanees who will be back among the first team, with Dominik Szoboszlai, Curtis Jones, Trey Nyoni and James McConnell the other senior midfielders.
There are fewer options when it comes to the attack, with Federico Chiesa and Rio Ngumoha the only first-team forwards present.
Which youngsters will be involved and who will miss out?

Iraola is also set to bring in a number of players from the academy to bulk out sessions and potentially integrate them for the season ahead.
That should include the likes of Josh Abe, Jayden Danns, Kieran Morrison, Mor Talla Ndiaye, Lewis Koumas and Will Wright.
Along with Jaros, those expected to miss out – at least from day one – due to injury are Conor Bradley, Giovanni Leoni, Wataru Endo, Stefan Bajcetic and Hugo Ekitike.
Leoni and Bajcetic may be involved, but they are not as far along as Jacquet in their recovery from long-term issues.

A lively start to pre-season is anticipated with only a week at the AXA before Liverpool fly out for their pre-season tour of the USA.
There they should be joined by captain Virgil van Dijk along with Alexander Isak, Florian Wirtz, Ryan Gravenberch and Cody Gakpo.
Alisson is due to report back slightly later, while Mac Allister and Munoz may only be available from mid-August.
