Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker has broken his silence following Brazil’s surprising early exit from the 2026 FIFA World Cup at the hands of Norway.

“My wish was to be writing this caption, after the 19th, as world champion! But somehow, our great goal in this World Cup was not possible!” Alisson wrote.
He admitted the immediate emotions were those of “frustration and sadness”, acknowledging there would naturally be many questions after such a painful defeat.
However, the Liverpool goalkeeper explained that he refused to allow those feelings to define him, instead choosing to get back on his feet and move forward.
