Savinho is now one of two Manchester City stars who are on Roberto De Zerbi's wishlist as he kickstarts a new era at Tottenham Hotspur.
Spurs have been eyeing the Brazilian winger since last summer and Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that he remains a "top target." The Lilywhites want to bolster their attack after overhauling De Zerbi's midfield.
Sandro Tonali arrived from Newcastle United in a £100 million deal, while Mateus Fernandes followed him to North London from West Ham United for £85 million. With the midfield seemingly sorted, attention has turned to the attack, which needs a reboot.
Tottenham Now Eyeing Marmoush

Spurs narrowly avoided relegation last season and a major issue during a campaign to forget was a lack of firepower. Richarlison topped the goalscoring charts with 11 goals and loanee midfielder Joao Palhinha came second with just five.
To address this issue, De Zerbi's transfer chiefs have now reportedly set their sights on Omar Marmoush, per TEAMtalk. The City forward has endured a difficult spell at the Etihad since arriving from Eintracht Frankfurt in January 2025 for £60m.
Marmoush started just eight of 21 league games last season, managing three goals and as many assists. That's a disappointing tally for a player who starred in the Bundesliga.
The 27-year-old registered 37 goals in 67 games for the German club and had been on Spurs' radar before joining City. His lack of game time could lead to a summer exit, although he's thought to want to speak to new manager Enzo Maresca before making a decision over his future.

It's an exciting time to be a Tottenham fan as the club's higher-ups are putting their money where their mouths are. They seem intent on handing De Zerbi a new superstar centre-forward and Marmoush fit the bill before his Etihad struggles.
Both Spurs and Newcastle are thought to admire Marmoush's ability to play as a striker, second striker and a winger. His versatility could be of great use to De Zerbi, who began his reign without Dejan Kulusevski and Mohammed Kudus due to injury.

The Lilywhites are also linked with Bournemouth's Junior Kroupi, and the French starlet would undoubtedly be an ambitious acquisition. But a move for the more experienced Marmoush could be a less expensive solution to the problems up top.
