Transfer targets: Julian Alvarez, Bruno Guimaraes and Adam Wharton
The summer transfer window is in full swing as Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham, Liverpool and Manchester United all look to strengthen ahead of the new season. The Gunners are set to make a move for Atletico Madrid striker Julian Alvarez in the hope of wrapping up a deal before the start of pre-season. Arsenal are said to have agreed personal terms with Bruno Guimaraes and there has been an update on the pursuits of Morgan Rogers and Christos Tzolis.
Ederson is set to sign a contract, but not at Man Utd after they pulled the plug on a deal with Atalanta and have set their sights on Manu Kone, Joao Gomes, Carlos Baleba or Alex Scott to bolster their midfield. Chelsea, meanwhile, are set to officially unveil Xabi Alonso amid working on deals for Pep Chavarria and Maxence Lacroix.
Tottenham have already spent over £200million this summer but remain interested in Eli Junior Kroupi and Omar Marmoush. Liverpool are undeterred by Paris Saint-Germain's asking price for Bradley Barcola and may now have a free run at the France international.
