Andoni Iraola‘s era at Anfield is officially underway, and supporters will hear from the new head coach when he speaks to the media live for the first time.
The Spaniard has already clocked in at the AXA Training Centre for pre-season, but he now faces the press for the first time since being unveiled as Liverpool’s new head coach.
Iraola has spoken to the club’s in-house media and now gets his first taste of the Liverpool press as his official duties get underway.

Iraola’s unveiling press conference will start at 11am on Monday, July 13.
It will take place at the AXA Training Centre.

What to expect from Andoni Iraola’s first Liverpool press conference

There will be no shortage of questions and topics put to the Spaniard, which will likely include:
• Transfer plans: What the club’s intentions are, if targets are being pursued and who may leave this summer.
• Assessment of current squad: What he thinks of the players he has inherited and the time he will need to assess his options.
• Vice captain: If he has an early feeling for who will assist Virgil van Dijk for the season ahead, or if he will leave it to the squad to decide.
• Squad return dates: He will likely give an update/confirmation on the staggered returns of his international players from their summer breaks.
• Backroom additions: Four staff members followed him from Bournemouth, but does he have a desire to add more? He knows he needs a new lead goalkeeper coach, at the very least.
