Inter Milan are set to make a fresh bid to sign Liverpool star Curtis Jones this summer, according to talkSPORT.
The Reds are bracing themselves for another busy summer window as they look to rebuild the squad following a fifth-place finish in the Premier League, which saw manager Arne Slot replaced by Andoni Iraola at the end of the campaign.
A number of first-team regulars have departed, while Victor Munoz is the only first-team arrival so far (alongside Jeremy Jacquet who signed in January), but it has now emerged that there could be another departure imminently.

Jones, who has been described as 'incredible', has been heavily linked with a move away from Anfield this summer as he enters the final 12 months of his contract, with Serie A champions Inter the most interested club.
An initial offer worth €25m (£21.6m) was firmly rejected earlier in the window, with Liverpool putting a £30m value on the 25-year-old due to the current state of the midfield market. Inter have so far been adamant they won't go that high, but they are now planning a new bid to find a compromise.
Liverpool are confident they will receive the £30m they want, but if nobody makes that offer then they are more than happy to keep Jones for the final year of his deal.
There are no concerns about the player's attitude or professionalism at this stage, although it is understood that he would prefer to leave and join Inter this summer after failing to find an agreement over a new contract. He has already given his word to the Italian side that they are his priority, and the only thing standing between a move is an agreement between the clubs.

Liverpool have already lost Mohamed Salah, Ibrahima Konate, and Andy Robertson on free transfers this summer, and they all need to be replaced.
But Jones is another player who has been a regular for the first-team in recent years, and his output and importance to the side has been immeasurable. The decision to let him leave is an odd one, considering his links to the club's academy and his age, but it's clear the club feel he is replaceable.
That means they must replace him if they allow him to move on, because the squad is thin already and he is a top player. Inter are ready to make their push, so expect the chase for more arrivals to accelerate too.
