That goal reminded everyone why Arsenal rate him so highly and Arteta believes the forward can help build on last season’s title win. Getting him early would also help him settle before the new football season starts.
Alvarez already knows the Premier League well from his time at Manchester City. He joined City for a fee of €17 million and became a key attacking player.
