Through a statement on their official website, Premier League club Bournemouth have announced their new intake of academy scholars ahead of the 2026-2027 season.
Premier League regulations require all players in their U17 year to begin the campaign on a scholarship agreement.
They are only eligible to sign their first professional contract on or after their 17th birthday.
Bournemouth revealed that five of the fourteen new scholars are external signings, including Nigerian forward Nefeye Osazee.
Osazee has joined Bournemouth after leaving Arsenal, bringing an end to a three-year spell at the club's renowned Hale End Academy.
The talented forward began his football journey with Lagos-based grassroots side City Sports School before moving to England in 2022.
After impressing during a successful trial, he was snapped up by Arsenal from Slough Town's youth set-up.
Shortly after arriving at Hale End, he helped the young Gunners lift the Premier League U13 National Cup.
Osazee is set to feature for Bournemouth U18s in the forthcoming season, although he is also eligible to be registered as a scholar in the club's Premier League squad.
