Leandro Trossard has agreed to join Besiktas from Arsenal in a deal worth €20million (£17m). The 31-year-old has spent the last few weeks focused on Belgium at the World Cup but following their elimination, has decided on his next move.
The fee between the Gunners and Turkish club was agreed earlier this month with the final decision on Trossard as he weighed up his options. The former Brighton star has now seemingly made his mind up and will be in Istanbul on Tuesday to complete a medical and finalise his switch, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Considering his age and the fact he has only 12 months remaining on his current deal at Emirates Stadium, it is a very good deal for Mikel Arteta's side.
The Premier League champions were expected to strengthen out wide regardless of exits and with Trossard moving on, two players could come in. One of those has already been identified as Club Brugge's Christos Tzolis.

Arsenal first explored a potential deal for the 24-year-old back in June following another strong campaign in Belgium. He could reportedly cost in the region of £34m despite having three years left on his contract.
If that deal does go through, Aston Villa's Morgan Rogers is set to remain a target with Paris Saint-Germain's Bradley Barcola also of interest.
Two incomings have thus far been confirmed by Arsenal with Piero Hincapie's loan move made permanent and Illan Meslier joining as a free agent after leaving Leeds United.
Elsewhere, Atletico Madrid's Julian Alvarez appears to be back on the radar of those in north London with Bournemouth teenage sensation Eli Junior Kroupi also a target. Bitter rivals Tottenham look set to join the potential transfer race for the Frenchman.

In terms of other potential exits in addition to Trossard, Ben White has been attracting interest while the likes of Ethan Nwaneri, Gabriel Martinelli and Christian Norgaard could be sold to raise funds.
There were rumours surrounding a potential exit for captain Martin Odegaard but he remains an important part of Arteta's squad despite limited minutes and an injury-ravaged campaign.

Declan Rice, Bukayo Saka, Eberechi Eze and Noni Madueke are among those that will subsequently report late for pre-season with France's William Saliba in a similar position.
