Mahomes and his wife Brittany attended the wedding of former Chiefs teammate JuJu Smith-Schuster to Laura Kruk in July 2026, at the Ritz-Carlton in Laguna Niguel, Dana Point, California. The oceanfront ceremony took place roughly one week after Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s own wedding at Madison Square Garden in New York City on July 3. The two also attended that wedding, which featured around 1,000 high-profile wedding guests.

Smith-Schuster, who currently plays for the New York Giants, had been engaged to fitness instructor Kruk since September 2024. The couple hosted the event at the luxury coastal resort, drawing multiple current and former NFL players. Photographs of the wedding wedding show both Patrick and his wife dressed up formally.
Mahomes wore a classic black tuxedo and matching trousers with a white shirt underneath while Brittany wore a vibrant coral pink/salmon-colored maxi evening gown. The photos were posted by Brittany on her Instagram page, with the caption saying, “Love celebrating love🤍🥹”. Alongside them, newly married Kelce and Swift also attended the wedding and sat beside Mahomes and his wife. It was a display of unity and friendship within the Chiefs roster.
Brittany is known to feature at high-profile events alongside her husband. The two have been married since 2022, and share three children named Sterling, Bronze, and Golden. The two also recently attended another event.

Mahomes and his wife also recently attended the FIFA World Cup quarterfinal match between Argentina and Switzerland at Kansas City Stadium. Argentina won the game with a score of 3-1 and advanced to the semi finals. It is not the first game the couple has attended, as they also attended Argentina’s group stage opener against Algeria and the Netherlands vs. Tunisia group stage game.
Most fans noticed and pointed out a peculiar thing. Mahomes and his wife decided to sit in separate rows, which intrigued a lot of fans. Images were shared, with many wondering whether it was simply a normal decision, or whether something happened.
