Xabi Alonso’s transfer exodus is in full flow after Andrey Santos’ move to Manchester United, but plenty more summer sales are expected. A new £34m bid has been received by BlueCo.
Santos’ move to Man United is the fourth permanent sale made by Chelsea this summer. Marc Cucurella has gone to Real Madrid, Tyrique George has joined Everton, and Jimmy-Jay Morgan is at West Brom.
Sorry, but there are WORSE players than Alejandro Garnacho at Chelsea who aren’t being pushed out of the club

Brazil star Santos’ move to Old Trafford has boosted Chelsea’s coffers to the tune of £48m. With all four sales and the £17m from Enzo Maresca’s compensation, Chelsea have received £134.5m this summer.
But Chelsea are expected to wave goodbye to more players. Trevoh Chalobah, Filip Jorgensen, Axel Disasi, Liam Delap and plenty of others have been linked with the exit door, as has winger Alejandro Garnacho.
Chelsea receive £34m loan bid, but surely, it will be rejected
According to Sky Italy reporter Gianluca Di Marzio, Roma have tabled a bid for Garnacho. It is a loan bid worth an initial £4m, with the inclusion of a permanent clause believed to be worth in the region of £30m.

It sees Chelsea make an instant loss on the £40m spent to sign Garnacho last summer. However, after two years of player amortisation at the end of any potential loan, the book margin will be somewhat equal.
Of course, that is if Roma do decide to sign Garnacho permanently. The Argentina international has failed at Chelsea and a new home is best for all parties involved. But Chelsea and BlueCo will surely reject it.
Reports say Chelsea are unwilling to accept a loan offer for Garnacho this summer, and will only consider permanent offers. Chelsea believe they can take their £40m fee back in due to Garnacho’s numbers.
That might be somewhat delusional given the season Garnacho has just had, and the reputation that precedes him. Ultimately, Chelsea want to sell Garnacho permanently; a loan offer won’t be entertained.
Why Chelsea would be wrong to reject Garnacho loan offer
Despite the stance, which is mistakenly admirable, Chelsea are not going to receive a better offer for the wide man. No club in their right mind is going to pay Chelsea’s £40m asking price for Garnacho.

Indeed, most clubs will have concerns surrounding an immediate permanent signing of Garnacho given his poor form and attitude. If Chelsea receive anything over £30m, then it is certainly worth taking.
So, a loan offer with the chance of a £30m permanent fee next summer might just be the best chance Chelsea have of cashing in the best part of the money they spent to sign him from Manchester United.
Chelsea have done well in raking in the amount of cash they have done so far. But there is ambition, there is stubbornness, and then there is delusion. Chelsea will not receive a better offer for the Argentine.
