After 7 years as a contributor and editor for the site, I have accepted a dream offer from the blogfather himself, Joel Thorman, to be site manager moving forward.
I genuinely wish I was still John Dixon's right-hand man as he worked his dream job, but we will find creative ways to honor JD at the site this season.
If you are unfamiliar with me, this site is all I know about the Chiefs and NFL coverage. I started with my two articles per week when I was 21 years old. I was never one to comment often, but I have been reading since it was one of my top bookmarks on my district-issued laptop in high school.
I wrote an introductory piece when I was first hired, and I've written about the loss of my dad, the biggest Chiefs fan I've ever known, too.
I don't know what else to share, my mind is spinning with ways to keep AP's brand strong, but I would like to know more about you to help with that. One of my biggest goals as I transition to full-time coverage is to get to know our readers more and interact with you all more often in comments and on The Feed.
If you have any comments, questions, concerns or inquiries about the present and future of Arrowhead Pride, or if you'd just like to share your story with me personally, please e-mail me at rononchiefs@gmail.com and I will do my best to acknowledge any effort to help me run your favorite Chiefs site for the 2026 season, and hopefully many more!
Go Chiefs! Thanks for reading, as always!
P.S. If you have an X or TikTok account, I post Chiefs content there, too! @RonOnChiefs
