Spence has already been informed by the club that he is not part of Roberto De Zerbi's long-term plans, opening the door for him to find a new club in the summer transfer window.
Liverpool face competition from a number of clubs for his signature, with Inter Milan the latest to make contact.

One of Spence's biggest strengths is his ability to play on either side of the defence, and that could be a huge positive for Liverpool.
The Reds lost Andy Robertson in the summer transfer window as his contract expired. Bringing in a player capable of playing on the left would be beneficial.
Spence, described as 'phenomenal', could also be an option at right back, especially given his different profile to someone like Jeremie Frimpong.
If Liverpool can negotiate a reasonably priced deal for Spence in the summer transfer window, then it could be a smart addition. It remains to be seen whether Tottenham would sell to Liverpool.
