Dak Prescott has drawn plenty of attention during the NFL offseason, but one of the most talked about images involving the Dallas Cowboys quarterback turned out to have little to do with his actual condition. The photo spread quickly before many fans realized something was off.

A viral image circulating on social media made Prescott appear far more muscular than he really is, leading many fans to believe the Cowboys quarterback had transformed his physique ahead of the 2026 season.
The image gained traction after Bussin' With the Boys shared it with a caption claiming Prescott looked "jacked" entering training camp. The version posted online had been edited, making his arms and upper body appear much larger than they are.

The altered photo was not the first to feature Prescott. A similar edited image circulated earlier this offseason, suggesting the latest post followed a pattern rather than showing a new workout result.
Prescott has long been known for keeping himself in playing shape. The misleading image exaggerated that reality, creating a version of the quarterback that did not match his actual appearance.
The discussion around Prescott carries more weight than an edited photo. Dallas returns every offensive starter from last season, placing expectations on an offense that already finished among the league's better units.
One AFC offensive coach also believes Prescott can regain another part of his game by running more often. During his first three NFL seasons, he scored six rushing touchdowns each year. Last season, he finished with 177 rushing yards and two touchdowns.
Whether Prescott runs more this season remains to be seen. The viral image created headlines, but Dallas will judge its quarterback by his play once the regular season begins.
