Bucs X Post Deemed Controversial
July 14th, 2026
If the Buccaneers wanted to attract attention via innocent and wounded citizens, they didn’t have to wait for a faceless senior citizen to be maimed in a national park.
All they had to do was shoot video of Bucs fans exiting December’s Falcons game.
Yesterday, the Buccaneers social media team posted the X video below. The team is excited about football season, so it shared part of the viral video of a tourist recently getting gored and hurled several feet into the air by a bison in Yellowstone National Park. The clip quickly morphs into a Tez Johnson touchdown celebration.
Per various news reports, Carl Isom-McDaniel, the gentleman traumatized by the bison, is reported to have broken several bones and required surgery.
The Bucs use of a man’s tragedy for their gain has drawn a lot of attention, but not enough for the team to take down the X post as of 10:30 a.m this morning.
Joe doesn’t have all the details to make a strong judgment. Using the video certainly seems in poor taste, though perhaps Team Glazer already has cut the victim a check to help him through this traumatic event and the guy is ok with having his personal horror serve as a Bucs hype video. He may even be a Bucs fan!
