The 2026 NFL Top 100 list continues to showcase some of the more dominant players from the previous season. We saw one player make his debut earlier today in Denver Broncos wideout Courtland Sutton, but a second player is making his first trip on the list. He was an All-Pro last season and led the sport in multiple categories in the 2025 season. Let’s take a closer look at who it is and why he made his debut on the list.

The Miami Dolphins have one of the best linebackers in the game today, and he was recognized as that as Jordyn Brooks lands at the 67th spot on the 2026 NFL Top 100 list. NFL’s Bobby Kownack wrote a blurb about Brooks as he was selected to the list, which is below:
“Brooks is one of the NFL’s surest tackling machines. He led the league in solo tackles (99) for a second occasion last season, and for the first time paced all defenders in total takedowns to earn distinction as both an All-Pro and a top-100 player. He was everywhere for a Miami defense that finished 24th in points allowed without a lot of other difference makers surrounding the off-ball backer. Brooks performed regardless of his situation, as seen in his 92.0 PFF run defense grade and a sterling 3.2% missed tackle rate.”
Jordyn Brooks had his first first-team All-Pro season in 2025 as he finished with a league-leading 183 total tackles (99 solo, 84 assists) with 3.5 sacks, 13 tackles for loss, four quarterback hits, three pass deflections, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery. With a team essentially hitting the reset button for the 2026 season, Brooks is going to be a superstar on the Dolphins defense next season.
Below is the updated list this week of the newest additions to the 2026 NFL Top 100 list so far this week:
70: Green Bay Packers S Xavier McKinney
69: Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson
68: Denver Broncos WR Courtland Sutton
67: Miami Dolphins LB Jordyn Brooks
The 2026 NFL Top 100 list is a list of who the players believe are the best in the sport. This list is voted on by the players throughout the 2025 season. Each weekday, two names are announced on X at 10 and 11 am ET until we reach the top 10 players remaining. Once we get to that point, only one name will be revealed each weekday until the entire 2026 NFL Top 100 list is revealed on Friday, Sept. 4. It will be intriguing to see how many other Miami Dolphins players are on this list.
