Travis Kelce Given Harsh Reality By Peers

The league’s competitive nature was on full display when it comes to Travis Kelce. Two weeks ago, the All-Pro married pop icon Taylor Swift at Madison Square Garden. However, his fellow NFLers didn’t have the same welcoming news to share. In fact, they essentially told Kelce they think he’s declining pretty significantly.

It was announced by the league on Monday morning that the lower tier of its annual Top 100 rankings had been released. On the prestigious list, the veteran pass-catcher ranked 79th. The elite offensive weapon ranked 37th a year ago.

During the past season, Kelce had 76 receptions for 851 receiving yards and five touchdowns. Despite his late 30s, his physical condition didn’t seem to limit him at all.

With forty-two spots dropped in a single calendar year, this represents a significant drop. In spite of the recent decline in numbers, the prolific pass-catcher remains extremely passionate about returning to championship caliber football in 2026.
