In an ESPN article written by Jeremy Fowler, NFL scouts, coaches, and executives identified the top 10 off-ball linebackers entering the 2026 NFL season. Additionally, the list included four honorable mentions and ten players who received votes; in total, 24 players were mentioned. Ernest Jones IV was surprisingly not mentioned among the top 10 linebackers and the four honorable mentions, but fell in the received votes category.
