FRISCO, Texas (KLTV) - According to ESPN, Dallas Cowboys outside linebacker Charles Snowden has been suspended for the first three games of the 2026 season.
Snowden is eligible to take part in all of the Cowboys’ preseason activities, including games. His suspension will take effect after the NFL reduces its rosters to 53 players.
ESPN reports that the reason for Snowden’s suspension was not stated, but he reached a plea agreement in January to resolve a DUI arrest from 2024 when he was a member of the Las Vegas Raiders.
In January, Snowden pleaded no contest and was ordered to pay a $1,000 fine and attend coroner’s and DUI courses. Snowden’s charge will be reduced to reckless driving if he completes the terms of his plea agreement.
Snowden joined the Cowboys last month when he signed as a free agent after a tryout at the team’s minicamp. Snowden went undrafted in 2021 and signed with the Chicago Bears. He’s also spent time with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and spent three years with the Raiders.
