At least one Liverpool FC player is due to participate in the FIFA World Cup Final this weekend. New signing Victor Muñoz was an unused substitute as Spain triumphed 2-0 over France in the first Semi-Final of the competition.
A penalty by Mikel Oyarzabal put Spain in the lead in the first half, and then a second-half goal from Pedro just before the hour mark sealed the deal for the Spaniards.
He could be joined by another Liverpool FC player in Argentina’s Alexis Mac Allister, who will take on England in the next Semi-Final.
