Crystal Palace are going through plenty of changes this summer, on and off the pitch.
Oliver Glasner departed after a trophy-laden spell to take over at Nottingham Forest, where he becomes the club’s latest head coach in a tumultuous year at the City Ground. Glasner’s time in south London saw Palace lift the FA Cup and Europa Conference League.

In his place, Palace have turned to French tactician Pierre Sage, luring him from Lens on a three-year deal after he guided the Ligue 1 side to a historic Coupe de France triumph and a second-place finish that secured Champions League football.
That ambition is being matched on the women’s side.
Palace have strengthened ahead of their WSL campaign by bringing in Bethany England on a free transfer after her spell as Tottenham captain.
England spent the 2017-18 season on loan at Liverpool from Chelsea, scoring 10 goals in 16 appearances.
The 32-year-old England forward has signed a two-year contract with Crystal Palace, which includes an option for a further year, and has been handed the No. 9 shirt.
Upon signing for the club, England said: “It feels great to sign for Crystal Palace. I’m very excited to be here, and looking forward to meeting all the girls and getting started.”
“Palace are an ambitious club. They’ve been in the WSL before, they’ve had two amazing promotions now, and I think you can see their investment in the Women’s game. They’re really pushing to want to be amongst the best, and they’ve got amazing facilities.
“It’s a place where I hope that I can make a lot of good memories, score a lot of goals, and make some good history for the Football Club.”
Manager Jo Potter added: “We are absolutely delighted to have Bethany here at Palace. She has scored goals wherever she has gone, and I am sure she will be crucial for us next season.”
It follows after Newcastle United signed Liverpool’s Gemma Evans on a free transfer this summer.
