Although the National League was shut out 4-0 by the American League in the MLB All-Star Game, Chicago Cubs outfielder Pete-Crow Armstrong stood out.
His natural flair, flashiness, and outgoing personality made him a logical choice to talk to during the game.
In the top of the 8th inning, Fox Sports talked to a mic'd-up PCA. He was asked about his huge fandom of the Chicago Bears. Suffice it to say, PCA has a strong case of “Bears Fever”.
“I went to five games last year, I went to every playoff game,” he said. “It was a blast, man. They're fun to watch.”
PCA got his love for the Bears from his father, citing Devin Hester and Matt Forte as his favorite players.
“He was a big Bears fan. Devin Hester was my guy. I love Matt Forte. But I will still watch Devin Hester highlights to this day. So big Bears fan through and through, man.”
BEAR, and we cannot emphasize this enough, DOWN.

He went 1-for-1 in the All-Star Game.
PCA has become a fixture at other Chicago sporting events, especially at Bears' games. After the Bears won their NFC Wild Card game over the Packers, he was at Soldier Field and sent a powerful message familiar to diehard Bears fans.
That message was “Bear down”.
He also sat with Bears' QB Caleb Williams at a Blackhawks game in January. Plus, his lovable swagger has been compared to Williams.
PCA is batting .291 with 104 hits, 29 home runs, 53 RBIs, and 63 runs scored. He is now a two-time MLB All-Star.
