The grand wedding of pop star Taylor Swift and NFL star Travis Kelce has been one of the most exciting events of the year so far.
The couple has long been a fan favorite, and news of their wedding broke with a “Just Married” message displayed on the Madison Square Garden marquee, leaving fans head over heels.
Pat McAfee Vouches for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s Wedding
In a recent segment of “The Pat McAfee Show”, the popular Game Day host couldn’t stop praising the jaw-dropping event, calling it the most amazing evening he had ever been a part of.
Speaking about the event, he said:
“The only reason why any of this is gonna happen is the memory. And how could you forget anything that happened that night? So anybody who’s saying anything negative about that place. Now granted, shutting down parts of the city and that whole thing. You guys can have your thoughts on that. The event itself was like the most spectacular, grand thing I’ve ever seen in my entire life. Taylor Swift is one of the greatest creators that the world has ever seen. I mean, she puts on stadium shows all around the globe. She has to entertain people who are 90 and those who are 15. Think about her brain going to her dream wedding. And then Travis Kelce’s energy in the middle of it. And the football world is coming together with Hollywood.”
The couple reportedly invited more than 1,000 guests, including several well-known personalities such as Gigi Hadid, Ryan Clark, and many others. Madison Square Garden was transformed into a fairytale-themed castle for the grand celebration.
Although the wedding appeared to be magical, some guests were reportedly unhappy with certain arrangements.
According to a report published by The Daily Mail on Saturday, the wedding has also faced some criticism.
One guest said:
“I couldn’t believe that there was a buffet at the wedding of the year. That felt like such a tacky move… amazing A-listers having to stand in line. It wasn’t quite what I expected.”
The report further stated:
“And now there’s more, with the raffle that Swift and Kelce held at Friday’s reception raising eyebrows.”
One insider told The Daily Mail:
“It was really bizarre. Straight after the ceremony, Taylor and Travis did a raffle and gave out expensive gifts for an hour. Everyone was weirded out.”
Another guest said:
“It was a circus meet-and-greet. Everyone kind of felt like, why are they giving away Chanel bags as if we are all their poor fans? It was pretty demeaning. It killed the vibe.”
Although there are no verified photographs of the event, it is safe to say that the highly anticipated wedding continues to generate attention.
