Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase has been an amazing wide receiver since coming into the NFL. During the 2025 NFL season, he caught 125 passes for 1,412 yards receiving and eight touchdowns, along with averaging 11.3 yards per reception. Chase was targeted 185 times last season. No matter who the quarterback was, he was able to get open and targets.

Chase is 26 years old and is in the prime of his NFL career. To go along with his receiving stats last season, he also rushed for 14 yards on three carries, along with averaging 4.7 yards per carry. Chase is a headache for opposing teams on a week-to-week basis. He was third in receptions last season in the NFL and was also fourth in receiving yards in the NFL.

Many different coaches, executives, scouts, and others interviewed with espn.com NFL insider Jeremy Fowler about the top wide receivers in the NFL. ESPN.com ranked Chase as the number one wide receiver in the NFL entering the 2026 NFL season. One NFL head coach agrees that the Bengals star wide receiver is the number one wide receiver in the NFL. He said,
“He’s the best I’ve gone against. He can break it for 80 [yards] at any time.”
He has gone over 1,000 yards receiving for the first five seasons in his NFL career. Chase is on track to do what Mike Evans did if he can stay healthy. There is no question that the Bengals have the top wide receiver in the sport at the moment. Whether it is Joe Burrow, Joe Flacco, Jake Browning, or someone else throwing to him, Chase is going to be producing big time numbers week in and week out.
