Liverpool have reportedly rejected a fresh £27million offer from Inter Milan for Curtis Jones, with FSG making it clear they will only consider a sale if their valuation is met this summer.

The Reds are believed to value Jones at around £30million and are prepared to keep hold of the midfielder if Inter fail to match their asking price.

Liverpool are also understood to have no issue with allowing the academy graduate to leave on a free transfer next summer when his contract expires if no suitable offer arrives during the current window.

Meanwhile, Arsenal are reportedly exploring a potential swap deal involving Viktor Gyokeres and Atletico Madrid striker Julian Alvarez. The Gunners have long admired Alvarez, who currently has a £432million release clause in his contract.

Elsewhere, Manchester City have been active in the transfer market and have already completed the club-record signing of Elliot Anderson from Nottingham Forest. Enzo Maresca’s side have also been linked with a move for Lille midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi.

According to Foot Mercato, PSG winger Ibrahim Mbaye is attracting interest from several of Europe’s biggest clubs, including Manchester City. The 18-year-old forward is also being monitored by Tottenham, Aston Villa, RB Leipzig and Borussia Dortmund.

Mbaye is keen to leave PSG despite making an impact when given opportunities. The winger has so far featured 42 times for Luis Enrique’s side, contributing four goals and four assists, while also making appearances for Senegal at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Before heading to AFCON in the winter, Mbaye was featuring regularly for PSG, but his playing time decreased following his return from the tournament.

Manchester City have added Mbaye to their shortlist as they prepare for potential changes in their attacking department, with Bernardo Silva joining Real Madrid and uncertainty surrounding the futures of other forwards.

PSG are understood to be open to a possible sale this summer. Ibrahim Mbaye was previously linked with a move to Liverpool, with the Reds reportedly making an offer for the then-17-year-old forward.
