Garrett and the two-time Olympic snowboarding champion walked the red carpet together at the 2026 ESPYS on Wednesday, held at the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center in New York City. It marked the show’s return to the city after years in Los Angeles.

Garrett arrived in a white button-up shirt and black dress pants, holding a half-eaten green apple. Kim stood beside him in a deep red gown. Before heading inside, the two leaned in for a kiss in front of photographers, turning a routine red-carpet walk into the clearest public relationship moment of their year.
“Hoping I can keep up with her. She’s got about five or six on her own, so I’m hoping to add some to a joint tally, and she keeps shining.” Garrett said Wednesday,
Kim added later, “I’m so excited to present. I think handing people awards is just as fun as receiving them.”
The exchange summed up a relationship that has grown steadily in public view since the pair first appeared together in Tokyo back in May 2025.

The ESPYs appearance comes months after Garrett’s stunning exit from Cleveland. In June, the Browns sent the two-time Defensive Player of the Year to the Rams for pass rusher Jared Verse and three future draft picks, ending his nine-season run with the franchise that drafted him first overall in 2017.
Garrett arrives in Los Angeles fresh off a historic 2025 campaign, when he set the NFL’s single-season sack record with 23. The move instantly made the Rams one of the favorites to reach Super Bowl LXI, which the league will host at SoFi Stadium in February. That trade now shapes everything Garrett does heading into training camp.
The Rams enter the season with Garrett anchoring a retooled defense built for a title run, while Cleveland turns the page with Verse and fresh draft capital. Fans will get their first real look at how both sides handle the change when regular-season play begins later this summer.
