Training camp is just around the corner for the Miami Dolphins and the rest of the NFL. It should be an exciting time for the Dolphin fans with a new head coach in Jeff Hafley and new quarterback in Malik Wills. One thing that has remained the same though is the Dolphins running back room.
Fresh off a career season, De’Von Achane was rewarded with a contract extension as he has become ‘Mr. Do Everything’ for this offense. He was a key focal point in the passing attack even with Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle at wide receiver. Things should remain the same for Achane but someone behind him is going to have to step up, whether that is Jaylen Wright or Ollie Gordon II. If Achane were to miss some playing time, the drop off is pretty steep as Wright and Gordon haven’t done much, but have had some flashes.
