The Spanish tactician promoted the highly-rated American-English-Nigerian academy defender to first-team training earlier this week, giving the youngster an opportunity to impress alongside Chelsea's senior stars.
Born in Arizona, United States, Landon is the son of former Super Eagles left-back Michael Emenalo, a key member of Nigeria's 1994 Fifa World Cup squad.
Michael Emenalo featured in three matches at the tournament after stepping in for the injured Benedict Iroha, going the distance against Argentina, Greece and Italy.
The former defender also played a key role in Nigeria's memorable 2-0 victory over Greece, setting up Daniel Amokachi for his iconic goal as the Super Eagles reached the knockout stage on their World Cup debut.
Landon was spotted training with Chelsea's first team players, including Tosin Adarabioyo, during Wednesday's workout at Cobham Training Center.
With as many as 11 Chelsea players still unavailable after their involvement at the 2026 Fifa World Cup, Landon Emenalo is believed to have been drafted into first-team training to help make up the numbers during the opening stages of pre-season.
The 18-year-old has received three call-ups for first team games without making his senior debut for Chelsea.
