The Dallas Cowboys are one of the teams under a lot of pressure going into 2026 to perform and perform well. Dallas has finished with seven wins each of the last two seasons, missing the playoffs both times.
Given the fact that the Cowboys have one of the highest paid offenses in the NFL, missing the playoffs has not sat well with the fan base. That being said, Dallas has made numerous moves this off-season in an attempt to turn their team around.

Dallas Cowboys Learn Of Former Quarterback Retiring
It has been announced that Will Grier will retire from the NFL just a few months before the start of the 2026 season. . A press release was issued by the Panthers this week.
“Will Grier came back to his hometown team three months ago, but his comeback won’t continue into training camp,” the Panthers said in a release. “The veteran quarterback has chosen to retire. The Panthers placed him on the reserve/retired list on Wednesday.”
In two separate stints, Grier played for the Dallas Cowboys. Before returning to Carolina this spring, he also spent timwwith the Cincinnati Bengals, New England Patriots, Los Angeles Chargers, and Philadelphia Eagles.

While Grier had few opportunities to play during his career, he earned praise for his professionalism and preparation.
Bryce Young enters his third season with the Panthers at a pivotal time. Having shown significant progress late last year, the former No. 1 overall pick is unquestionably the starter heading into training camp. An offseason trade brought in Kenny Pickett, who will serve as the primary backup, and undrafted rookie Haynes King will try to make the roster.
