He also posted 17 pressures, 19 run stops (fifth-most among safeties), 51 total stops (most), and allowed 431 passing yards and a 95.9 passer rating. He lined up 339 snaps at free safety, 275 at linebacker, 242 in the slot, 68 as an EDGE rusher, 16 at cornerback, five at strong safety, and five at defensive tackle, per NFL Pro.

In an ESPN article written by Jeremy Fowler, NFL coaches, executives, and scouts identified the top 10 safeties entering the 2026 NFL season. The list also included five honorable mentions and 12 players who also received votes; in total, 27 players were mentioned. Tre’von Moehrig did not make the top 10 but earned an honorable mention and was essentially named the 12th-best safety. One defensive backs coach praised Moehrig for his versatility, ability to blitz, and willingness to take on blocks.
“One of the most versatile players in the league. He can play safety, dime or nickel. Really good rusher. He can blitz, take on blocks like an OLB and an LB and can also be productive in the deep part of the field,” an NFL defensive backs coach said.
