Three seasons later, fans of the docuseries have watched as many hopeful rookies have walked away from the auditions heartbroken, while others have had their dreams come true.
Although Netflix has yet to announce plans for a fourth season, fans got a sneak peak of the cheer season ahead when the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders official Instagram shared their final roster for the 2026-27 season in mid-July 2026.

Those who watched season 3 of America’s Sweethearts know that it was Savanna Dastrup’s longtime dream to become a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader. After making it to training camp for the 2025-26 season, Dastrup had an emotional exit after being cut.
The Utah native then asked DCC director Kelli Finglass and head choreographer Judy Trammell if she had a chance at making the team if she returned for another year, which they encouraged her to do. “You might just chalk this up to timing and experience and the pressure,” Finglass told Dastrup. “But I think you’ve got the skills to make this team or another team.”
As promised, Dastrup — who previously cheered for Texas Christian University — returned for another shot in 2026, and this time around, she officially became a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader.
“This is an absolute dream come true!! I am so excited and am so so grateful for this opportunity!!! go cowboys!! 🥹💙🌟,” Dastrup commented on the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders Instagram post.

In addition to Dastrup, Emily Awbrey is another “comeback girl” who made the 2026-27 team after being cut the previous year.
The Oregon native was a frontrunner for Finglass and Trammell in 2025, with the DCC director even referring to Awbrey as “one of the strongest dance technicians in the entire audition.”
When it came time for more cuts, Finglass told the cheerleader that although she was one of her “personal favorites” from training camp, she needed more time to master the pom style of dance after years performing on cruise ships.
“I hope you do consider re-auditioning,” Finglass told Awbrey, adding that she’d be “disappointed if you don’t try out again.”
Awbrey said they’d “absolutely” see her back at round one — and after going through the training camp process again, she walked out a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader.
She commented on the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders Instagram post, writing, “I’m genuinely speechless. No words can describe this💙.”
