After helping the Lakers to reach the NBA Summer League Semifinals en route to a perfect 4-0 tournament run so far, Cameron Carr sent a bold message to those teams that passed on him in the previous league draft.
The Los Angeles Lakers have been enjoying their run as the best team in this year's NBA Summer League so far, stamping their ticket to the Semifinals after dismantling the Chicago Bulls with a 105–82 victory on Thursday.
The Lakers will enter the semi-finals round with a perfect 4-0 record and in absolute momentum to hoist the tournament trophy.
As the driving force behind the Lakers' red-hot Summer League campaign in Las Vegas, Cameron Carr is highly motivated to prove his doubters wrong after feeling overlooked by many teams as he entered the NBA.
“At the end of the day, I feel like you’ve got to have fire under your feet, and so every time I step on the court, I’m motivated to go and do my job," the Lakers' rising sensation said in NBA on Prime's walk-off interview after dropping 14 points against the Bulls.
"I think I was overlooked, so I’ve got a lot to prove.”
