The worst-kept secret in the club shop is finally official. After a week of billboards popping up across Liverpool – and Phil Jagielka doing his bit as an unlikely mannequin – Everton and Castore have pulled the wraps off the 2026/27 away kit, and it is available to pre-order online right now.
It is the first away shirt to carry new main partner CMC Markets on the front, with Stake.com featuring as sleeve partner. Pre-orders are live today at store.evertonfc.com, and the kit lands in the Official Everton Store at Hill Dickinson Stadium and Everton Two from 9am on Thursday 23 July.
The 2026/27 away kit: a nod to the ’50s
Everton’s designers have gone digging in the archives for this one. The new away strip takes its cue from one of the first Everton change shirts ever to feature amber – a late-1950s design that carried amber and royal blue hoops across the chest, worn by the likes of Bobby Collins, Dave Hickson, Brian Labone and Roy Vernon. Blues royalty, in other words.
The modern version reworks that heritage rather than copying it. Instead of hoops, you get vertical amber and royal blue pinstripes down the body, plain white sleeves, and an amber and royal blue V-neck collar with matching sleeve trim. The amber — now officially christened trinity amber — is the same shade that turns up on the collar and cuffs of this season’s home shirt, released earlier this month, so the two kits share a family look.
Down below, royal blue shorts come with a flat-finish waistband and concealed draw cords, the Everton crest on the right thigh and Castore’s wings opposite. The socks are white with royal blue and trinity amber hoops, ‘EFC’ on the shin and the Castore wings on the calf. (Baby kits, for what it’s worth, come with blue socks.)
Pro, Replica and a splash of yellow in goal
As ever, Castore is offering two versions. The Pro kit is the exact one the players wear — ultra-lightweight, ribbed Aertek fabric built for peak performance, available in men’s and women’s sizes. The Replica is the non-textured version with the enhanced, intricate detailing, made for the pub, the match and everything in between. Both come in long sleeve if that is your thing.
Keepers get their own look: a yellow, round-necked goalkeeper shirt (Replica only) with a black collar and sleeve trim, plus matching shorts and socks.
What it’ll cost you
Prices are held at last season’s expensive levels. The headline numbers: the Pro shirt is £115 (£120 long sleeve), the Replica shirt £80 (£85 long sleeve) and the kids’ Replica shirt £65. Shorts range from £35 for the junior version up to £55 for the Pro, and socks are £15–£18 depending on size. To sweeten the launch, official retail partner Fanatics is throwing in free shipping on all UK online orders.
One thing worth flagging: in line with responsible-marketing rules, CMC Markets branding will not appear on any children’s or junior kits — the financial-trading logo is kept to the adult range only.
First outing at Dundee
You won’t have to wait long to see it in action. The men’s senior side will give the away kit its first run-out on Saturday in the opening pre-season friendly of the summer, away at Dundee (2pm BST kick-off). If you can’t make it up to Scotland, the game is streaming live on evertonTV.
Pre-orders are open now at store.evertonfc.com across men’s, women’s, youth, infant and baby sizes, ahead of the in-store launch next Thursday.
If the reaction to last week’s billboard leak is anything to go by, this one has landed better than most – the amber-and-blue combination has plenty of Evertonians nodding along, with more than a few already declaring the away shirt the pick of the two this season. Whether it edges the home kit in your book is another matter. Let us know what you make of it in the forum.
